Good scarce grey metal example set on field grey cloth. Eagle and swastika on shield bearing the dates 1941 1942 and map of the Crimea; the reverse retains four securing blades and metal backing plate all covered in grey paper.
Instituted 25th July 1942 . Shield instituted 25th July 1942 and awarded to Field Marshal von Manstein's troops who captured the Crimea.
