Good scarce printed black cat on KD rectangle.

Raised in Ahmednagar in the spring of 1941 under the command of Major General Smythe VC. Saw much bitter fighting against the Japanese in Burma and Assam and particularly in the Chin Hills and Imphal areas. Crossed the Irrawddy in February 1945 and captured Meiktila which led to the destruction of the Japs in Burma. The black cat was adopted in 1943.
