Prince Albert's crest in hollow silver by B&P (Bent & Parker) bearing hallmarks for 1914 ? (date letter difficult to read as stamped on bend). Reverse with flat backplate retaining three loops. Excellent.

Use of Prince Albert’s crest as the arm badge of the Regiment sanctioned by Horse Guards 17th November 1876.

Northamptonshire Yeomanry NCO’s arm badge.
A good scarce white metal example comprising the White Horse of Hanover. Two loops to the reverse.

With its origins in the Northamptonshire Yeomanry Cavalry which was formed on 3rd May 1874, disbanded 1828, reformed 1830 and disbanded again in 1873, the Northamptonshire Imperial Yeomanry was raised by Earl Spencer on 7th February 1902 with its HQ at Northampton. On 1st April 1908 it transferred to the Territorial Force as Northamptonshire Yeomanry.
